It isn’t very often that major television media pick up on interprofessional news stories – most of the projects are pretty complex and not necessarily ‘newsworthy’ in the eyes of the media and the public.  Of course, Centennial College has it figured out – their project, IDEAS, is all about interprofessional disaster and emergency preparedness.  One of the activities that students from Centennial have to participate in is a live simulation that requires them to use their clinical and interprofessional skills to manage.  Today they simulated a ‘dirty bomb’ incident on the 401.
