    The development of interprofessional education for patient centred collaborative practice since the inauguration of 21 Health Canada funded projects has led to the emergence of three connected yet distinct types of interventions that are aimed at developing a system which will deliver the highest quality of care.

    Secretariat Changes

    It’s official, the amazing Brenda Sawatzky-Girling, CIHC Managing Director will be leaving us at the beginning of June.  Brenda has done a phenomenal job of keeping the Collaborative organized, and we’ll miss her sense of humour, attention to detail and management skills.  Fortunately, she’s agreed to continue on as consultant to the secretariat for the next few months.

    Alix Arndt, who is known to many CIHCers from her role as Library Project Manager, has agreed to take on Brenda’s duties.  It’s a tough act to follow, but Alix will do an exceptional job and we expect a seamless transition.  Watch for changes to happen at the beginning of June, just after Collaborating Across Borders II.
